DSP News Release: Man Arrested for Graffiti Charges

Location: Interstate I-95, south bound, at Route 202, (Railroad Overpass)

Date of Occurrence: 12/7/09/, at approximately 2:25 am

Defendant: Cody Peet, 18, Wilmington, DE

Resume: Delaware State Police arrested a man after he fled from police. Troopers from Troop 1 and Troop 6 responded to the area of Interstate 95 south bound, and route 202 at approximately 2:25 am, for subjects placing graffiti on a railroad bridge overpass.

When Troopers arrived in the area the suspect fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, and along with the assistance of the State Police K-9, the suspect was captured and arrested. The suspect was later identified as Cody Peet. Mr. Peet was charged with several graffiti charges along with resisting arrest. Mr. Peet posted the $3,600.00 bail issued by the court, and was released from Troop 1 pending trial
