NEW CASTLE COUNTY GRAFFITI CHARGES:

New Castle County police have warrants accusing two teenagers of defacing playground equipment on county parkland in Ogletown. Joshua Carter, 18, of the 200 block of Fieldstream Drive, and David Forbes, 18, of the first block of Lynch Farm Drive, are wanted on one count of graffiti each, Cpl. Trinidad Navarro said Wednesday. Neighbors saw three subjects walking from a car onto parkland off Garrett Road in Todd Estates on Monday, police said. An officer followed the smell of fresh paint in the playground area, where he found graffiti tags that read "Boom," "Yup," "Shamoo" and "4BZ." A vehicle found near the scene was not registered to its owner, so police had it towed. When Carter came to recover his car, the officer interviewed him, Navarro said.
